The LA Kings wanted to celebrate their season ticket members and thank them for their loyalty over the last few years. Between COVID-19 and revised hockey schedules, they were seeking a gifting moment that would allow the recipients to truly feel appreciated for sticking by them over the last few years.

The gift of choice was a key component of this experience. The message the Kings wanted to convey was to allow maximum flexibility in their gift while providing a quick and easy selection process.

To really drive home how much the Kings appreciated their members, they wanted to ensure each gift was truly unique to each individual. BirdieBox custom built a shopping portal that allowed the recipient to customize their selection with the Kings logo, their initials, or a combination of both. This created a one-of-a-kind gifting moment for the recipient while providing the Kings with real-time redemption reporting on favorite gift sets.

Our season ticket holders were floored when they saw their names on the custom boxes. It doesn't make up for a missed season, but showed our most loyal fans that we need them back in the seats.
