Additionally, BirdieBox invested in our supply chain so we would have the ability to provide all services needed, such as product storage, custom website development, onsite staffing, and ongoing customer support. We're always leaving a lasting impression with each client and their most valued customers. And because one size does not fit all, clients can choose from custom-designed gift sets, on-site gift suites or virtual gift portals, all designed to engage and delight gift recipients.

The BirdieBox Story

2013

After a storied career on Wall Street,

Keith Bolognese moved to Scottsdale, AZ and founded BirdieBox in late 2013, born from a love of golf and lifestyle. Our first tagline was "Golf. Life. Style." In April, 2014, Keith called upon his childhood friend, Pat DePirro to run the company since there was trust, friendship and mutual respect between the two New Yorkers.
2016

In Q4 of 2016,

DePirro made the difficult decision to sunset BirdieBox's successful monthly golf subscription service to solely focus on corporate gifting and changed the business model, branding and tagline. Pat drew upon his experience as a corporate sales leader for MLB, Viacom, and Bloomberg and regularly entertained clients at sporting events, golf trips, and other marquis events.  As part of creating these memorable experiences, DePirro often provided thoughtful and personalized gifts regardless of the time, energy, and coordination required to source, package, and customize them for each client.  
2017

In late 2017,

DePirro's friend and investor, Michael Myers joined BirdieBox to help scale the business. They focused on targeting professional sports, colleges, and financial service professionals. Understanding the value, time savings, and convenience that a streamlined concierge gifting service would deliver, Myers leveraged his reputation and network in sports to build BirdieBox's presence.
2020

2021

Make Gifting an Experience

In early 2021, BirdieBox opened its first wholly-owned fulfillment center in Doral, FL. With full control over receiving, production, and shipping, services were further expanded to handle larger, rolling fulfillment programs across multi-year agreements. The Frisco showroom at The Star in North Dallas was opened in mid-2021, allowing for high-profile executives and athletes to experience BirdieBox in one of the most recognizable areas in the country.
2022

A year of investment

in expanded inventory, equipment, software development, and infrastructure. BirdieBox’s staff nearly doubled in size as they serviced thousands of customers and shipped over 250,000 gifts. ShopBirdieBox.com successfully launched as a wholesale eCommerce platform to best serve our growing client base. With a robust warehouse management system in place, BirdieBox was able to ship highly custom gifts with short lead times.
2023

Looking Ahead

After a record setting year in 2022, BirdieBox continues to focus on distribution and scalability, while still maintaining the levels of personalization and customer service that makes us one of a kind. A 3rd experience center in Chicago will open to house our business intelligence team, and allow us to better serve the promotional products channel and growing client base in the Midwest.
